Following an investigation into how the oil filter recycling process may be improved, we have invested in an automated machine that extracts almost all of the residual oil held within a used oil filter.
Our filter crushing machine, the first of it's kind in New Zealand, enables us to not only provide a cleaner more serviceable metal recyclable product, but also means that 95% of the residual oil absorbed in the filter paper can be removed and processed for use as an alternative to virgin fuels in hot house boilers and cement or lime kilns. |
